PlayrWise (“we,” “us”) operates playrwise.com, a directory that helps Houston families find youth-sports trainers, clubs, camps, clinics, and tryouts. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join our email list we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name and the sports and age ranges you’re interested in. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email, and message. If you create a trainer or club account, we collect your email and password (handled by our authentication provider) and the listing details you choose to publish — such as your name, bio, sports, location, and the public contact details and services you add.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may log basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) and we use cookies necessary to keep you signed in.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate and improve the directory, display listings, respond to your messages, and — if you opted in — send you updates about new programs, trainers, and clubs that match your interests. We do not sell your personal information.

How your information is shared

Listing details you publish as a trainer or club are shown publicly on the site by design. We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf — including our database and authentication provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), and our email provider (Resend) — solely to run the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. To access, correct, or delete your information, email us at admin@playrwise.com and we’ll help.

Children’s privacy

PlayrWise is intended for parents, guardians, and youth-sports providers — not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
